I personally needed a refresher of our mission this week. I'm thankful for its power to motivate me to put in the work, rather than being complacent.
FREEDOM IN JOBS
Sex trafficking ranks high in Nepal because of a lot of extreme poverty and the cultural undervalue of girls. We believe jobs change this!
Our jobs provide a positive source of income that is a livable wage, along with a community of other women who respect each other. The independence our jobs bring is a healthy one that combats the typical assumptions of women. I love seeing our seamstresses smile with self-esteem.
OUR DREAM
We're already living the dream, but we're not done. We desire to do a better job at everything, and to multiply the work we're doing in the process.
This dream is what gives me hope and purpose in every detail that goes into Elegantees. Your orders fuel the dream. We're thankful for your support, and hope you know just how much you mean to us!
