WHAT MULTIPLY MEANT THIS YEAR

The word 'multiply' has been spoken frequently this year. Despite our sales and demand not increasing, I kept wondering about what it meant. Then it clicked when I saw many volunteers starting to join, and then run actual departments like it's their job. Multiplying in 2024 has been all about setting up the infrastructure first, which is necessary for the next steps of multiplying in Nepal.

Looking back at 2023, I recall that it was a year to create. We tore down brick walls in our sewing center that kept us from prospering. Last year was all about creating something new. It was peaceful this year to run a well-oiled infrastructure in Nepal. 

The past two years have been about improving our infrastructure. Now we feel fully capable to create thousands of garments per month, to employ more seamstresses quite easily, if we are given the opportunity.

It's time to pray for a vision on how to get the exposure!

With a new year coming up, it's time to think about goals and what to focus on next. I'm feeling optimistic. I believe something will happen with Elegantees that is going to take us further than ever imagined. Every time I visit our pattern graders office in the garment district of NYC, my spirit gets nudged before I head back uptown where I live. I am inclined to pray for us to take dominion there. In this, I'm filled with desire to have our light be more visual within the industry and to be a witness to the entry-level fashion grads.

It seems like I have more mental space to think like a CEO this days too. Did I tell you that I have an executive assistant now? Yeah, I'm in awe, and she's crushing it! This is so exciting that I'll be able to focus more on new things and fixing major things.

I'm grateful as I reflect on the direction we've been going into. The possibility of closing our doors had not crossed my mind this year. If I'm honest, we have had harder years when it came to logistics and cash flow.

Now onto a new year soon, as we continue to multiply with a new way!?
