TEES MADE IN HAITI

Creating graphic tees in high quality fabric has been a desire, but we faced setbacks for it in Nepal. Then I learned more about how graphic tees are a specialty with our friends at Goex. It made me wonder about it more. I love how they create jobs in Haiti!  The livable wages empower people who are often up against systems of hardship.
It was fun to implement our designs into another sewing center.  We wanted the fit and sizing of the tees to match our size chart. I also wanted a cut that I would make me feel pretty wearing it. We incorporated some typical Elegantees details to give the tee some shape to the waist, curve to the hem, a longer back, and a daintier sleeve.
The fabric of the graphic tees was made in the USA from recycled fibers and a cotton blend. They are not as buttery as our Nepal fabric, but still great. I've worn the initial sample out and about multiple times, and the quality is still like new.
The artwork was made with love by Wildy, who has been a part of Elegantees on and off for nearly a decade. The Bloom tee with the bouquet represents us when we allow the beauty to blossom. The Flourish tee is a stack of our leaf motif logo, symbolizing our journey to inspire, hope, and restore.
With anything we do, the people who are empowered by making our products are the most thrilling benefit.  “It’s all about paying employees fair wages so they can care for their kids, build community, and invest in others around them,” says the director of the Haiti group.
I couldn't be more proud of these! View the graphic tees here.
