JOY MULTIPLIED

A preview of our Arizona capsule launching next week.

I was staring out the window for a while, wondering what to write. Could I have anything worthwhile to say? Some people are going through so much more with hurricanes Helene and Milton. I believe it's still important to show up, to post on social media, and share about our work anyway. The fight against human trafficking is still a need.

A SPECIAL SAUCE

A few months ago, more women have come on board to volunteer with Elegantees. It's become exponentially more just recently, and we're at over a dozen. These women are owning certain roles that they are exceedingly gifted at. It's been neat to see them step in, all with the same motivation as me - to bring more women into freedom!

I believe this is going to more powerful than me showing up alone. It's already helped me because I'm not working extensive overtime on the business to finish all the things. I see how it's helping Elegantees too because they are bringing a new perspective and fresh passion.

MULTIPLY

Going back to this word over and over again, and I hope you're not sick of me bringing it back to the chat again. What if the word multiply is about the volunteers that go into the brand itself, rather than the growth of the business? The year isn't finished yet, so we might be totally surprised, but this is what I'm seeing!

Last week as I did some accounting, I've come to learn that we're actually down in sales about 20% from last year. Costs like shipping have only gone up, leaving less profit than ever. If this is an indication of how other fashion brands are doing, it's no wonder so many are clothing their doors.

Shouldering this alone would have been a burden I wasn't meant to take on alone, so I'm glad I'm not. It's not even a burden anymore, and I'm thankful that I have hope and joy in this again. We're working together for something we all believe in.

It's about people who are worthy of freedom and love. So we keep going with confidence and faith. Greater things are yet to come!
