GOOD NEWS
Last Friday I shared how I'm going to step forward and faith and renew the lease on our office space. Many good things are happening in that space, and it'll be multiplied even more in the next year. I know things will work out with the bills and all. Trust.
Well later that afternoon, the treasurer of our nonprofit logged into our donor hub and said there was already a significant amount in there. This means people have been donating to Sewn To Restore, and we weren't even proactively seeking donations yet. I was floored, teary eyed, rejoicing!
Those donations will not be used for the office space, but they can be used for certain things in Nepal that the business is covering now. That can easily help use some of the business' profits then for the office rent. However it works out, we are floored that favor is on us!

A LIFE HACK
How thrilling life is to walk in faith that all things will work out! I want it for you too. Someone I know was feeling down because she predicts life only gets harder, and it's about getting stronger. I've been learning that hard things can be combated with gratitude to the point where you no longer think about things being hard anymore.
I read last year that worry and gratitude cannot occupy your brain at the same time. It made sense, so I've been choosing joy. Not just saying the cute quote that it is, but it's little things like actually feeling a ray of sunshine on my face. Gratitude grows, and in time, the list of things to be thankful for are more obvious, and it's a well of joy over here. Sure, I have some moments that feel disorderly, and the life is sucked out of me for a short time, but overall? Joy!
However, I truly believe that being grateful in all circumstances has allowed us to get this far at Elegantees and see such favor! We're about to enter a season where we will tackle other hard things. Maybe not financial as much (considering how deeply generous many of you already have been!), but joy will be our motto in it all.
