CAN YOU COLLABORATE?

Rainbow Row in Charleston, SC. Our next destination shoot!
Thanks for your words and prayers from my last Founder update. Someone pointed out that whenever I share hard things, there is a sense of hope and optimistic at the end of the update. I left that part out, so you know I was quite down.
There's a fresh fire of hope I'll share today. Stick with this email until the end because I also have a favor to ask.
THE SOCIAL MEDIA
A pivotal moment happened one day in the photo studio that we regularly rent in Brooklyn. Andrea and Roxy managed the wardrobe and photography. These young women impress me, especially with their spirit of teamwork. For a while, I've been wanting to build a team of creatives who could potentially take over all the social media shoots and posts. Roxy and Andrea can do it, but I know a third person will complete the team.
I put up a posting at the fashion college internship website, and we had a few trials runs with lovely students. However, the person we really need to complete the team should be extroverted. We need a model coach to give guidance, direct the set, and continually speak praise over the model.
Andrea told me about her classmate Gisele. Roxy gave Gisele a good referral also, so I had to meet her. Gisele is now an associate! This trio seems like a great fit for Elegantees because they care about our mission, are good at fashion, and they work well together. The youthful and entrepreneurial spirit is exactly what our social media and marketing approach needs.
The gals also expressed interest in travelling to cool places. I saw that direct flights to Charleston were a good price. So they are going! The photo at the top of this newsletter is one of the backdrops they will be working with. I love that the campaign they'll shoot for our Easter dresses promotion will have the color, beauty, and joy that this city will provide.
I believe we're entering a new era for Elegantees. For many years now, we've been without someone to focus on creative advertising, but that's about to change. I'm planning to have them manage the bulk of our social media content with two months!
CUSTOMER COLLABS
One thing Giselle told me is storytelling is resonating with people. I believe this is true, and we ought to implement this more. We have some ideas to bring more of this into our posts and website, but we need volunteers to participate.
This is where you come in. It will be powerful to showcase supporters in the clothing, along with their testimonials of what they love about Elegantees, why this cause is important, or just talking about their favorite piece. The message will be most inspiring if it's presented with beautiful visuals with photos or video, so as long as you have a decent phone, you can do this!
We'll be sending upcoming designs to supporters to help us create this content. For our first round, our priority is incorporating backdrops that generate a springtime feeling. Flower gardens, cherry blossom trees, pastel walls, farmer's markets, and lavender fields.
Is this you? Please reply back and tell us you're interested! You don't need to be active on social media, nor need to have a professional photographer, or even know how to edit a video. We'll provide guidance and tips for you to be a model, and you'll write your testimonial. Then Giselle or Andrea will download all your footage and do the editing and posting.
FOR THE CAUSE
This is more than fashion and clothing. Way more. We're an anti-human trafficking organization, even on the days when the fashion merchandising and photo shoots occupy our hours. The heart of Elegantees is what is most influential in reaching new heights.
So if you have a passion to fight human trafficking and help restore women, don't think twice about replying to this request to collaborate with YOU!
