A WEEKEND IN ARIZONA
We did a photo shoot in the desert, and I had the honor to meet local supporters!
One of our creative friends, Rachel, relocated to Phoenix this year. She invited me to visit her and do a fashion shoot. When I heard that one of our NY-based models Claire was relocating to the same area, I decided to look into it more. Seeing Elegantees in the desert started to become a dream.
A direct flight wasn't very expensive, so I soaked in the sun to get poked by cacti last weekend! No complaints about the cacti, but it was a fun story I got to tell my kids later. It wasn't just Rachel and Claire I got to work with. We collaborated with other supporters in the area, my cousin, and new models we discovered through Instagram.
It was a jammed packed weekend, but such a success! From the actual results of the fashion shoot, to unplugging and connect with ladies in real life that I have only connected with online before, marveling at the desert for the first time in my life, and catching up with my cousin. I am blessed for all this!
MINNEAPOLIS IS NEXT
As with Arizona, the doors have opened for another fashion shoot to happen just outside of Minneapolis. I'll be there in early November and the theme will be Thanksgiving. By the way, if you're in the area, let me know because we're planning a photo shoot and meetup!
These quick community weekends are something I'd like to do every few months. I went to Orlando in June, to Arizona last weekend, and next is Minnesota. I get so inspired when I'm in the presence of all of you. Plus, recruiting some customers to be models is quite fun!
