THE EMAIL I DIDN'T SEND

Wearing my favorite outfit again, the Devon blouse and Crosby blazer.
Last Friday I had a lot of emotions that needed to be processed. I put it into an update here, but paused to share the draft with my mentors first. They told me not to send it.
If you're a teacher, could you let me know if you experience fatigue during the school year? I often feel like I can relate to what teachers must experience. I'm leading over a dozen college students in a classroom/workplace hybrid environment. Some days are beyond amazing, and some days I'm completely spent.
What you're reading so far is what my draft entailed, but way more raw. I'm glad I didn't send the raw version because my emotions are not facts, and those emotions could have hurt some feelings. It still served a use because my mentors used them as a tool to help point me to a healthier place.
I'm also thankful that grace is a gift, and we do not need to shoulder guilt. Somehow, forgiveness is free. I think it's good to be reminded that we are in need of grace, so we can also give it freely to others too.
GENERAL UPDATES
Looks like this summer will be okay for some interns to continue on with projects that can take a load off my plate! They are enthusiastic, which is truly cool. A few are even traveling to Europe this summer for personal trips, so we might be seeing some collections shot from there!
I spoke with our nonprofit guy yesterday, and we're so close to the green light to go! I am elated!! It's been a long process….
Also, a trip to Nepal is on my radar. I'm just finalizing with my husband to confirm if he'd rather have me go when our son is still in school or when he's out of school. You know how long it can take for men to decide things though. Maybe I'll have a final answer by next Friday ;-)
Hope you have a joyful weekend. Reflect on Grace, as life is short.
With joy, Katie
