NEPAL BOUND

We are booking our flights to Nepal very soon! Yes, it's really happening! Yesterday we connected over a video call with Binita. She was saying how much it means to the seamstresses when someone from Elegantees visits them. I got to thinking, could we make this a regular thing to connect the wearers to the makers in a more accessible and frequent way?

I'm filled with dreams of doing future trips to Nepal with others (like you!), and hosting online meet-and-greets for you to personally meet our sisters. Since they love to “meet” you, it would be the neatest thing to do for both sides! Adding this idea to the list ;-)

As for our trip, I'll be flying to Nepal with a companion. We are not sure yet what the total cost will be, but we are hosting a huge sale to help fund it. Would you like to contribute to our trip, and get some cute new clothes as a bonus? That's what we're proposing with the upcoming sale. It will kick off this Sunday night at 5pm EST. Only TWO MORE WEEKS left in the spring semester! This has been quite an experience for me to host fashion colleges interns this semester. Not a single day felt dull. I will miss all the students, but I know we'll stay in touch. 

Making the most of the last two weeks, all while my mind is excited and planning for what's next. The summer team will be smaller, and there will be significantly more delegation coming from me. I will not be playing the role of a teacher, but one of a leader, and we'll be more results oriented.

Hoping we'll have the best summer to date - for creativity, results, and growing in our mission. The lease to our loft expires at the end of August, so we'll give this summer our all!
